WELCOME TO TOLLCHESTER
As a premier member in good standing with the Candadian Kennel Club since 2003, Tollchester Permanently CKC Registered, has versatile family Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever companions. We strongly believe tollers should have a 'off switch' which makes it easy for them to go from laying on the couch watching tv with the family to running around with the children. Our tollers live on acreage as well as in city homes, appartments and condos. The key to a happy toller is balance between exercise, training and love!
Our tollers are home raised in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada which is just over an hour (1) East of Vancouver, BC and three (3) hours North East of Seattle, WA. Our custom built home was designed for our dogs and is located in a quiet country setting on acreage with access to plenty of exquisite wetlands, lakes and rivers for our tollers to frolic in.
Many of the tollers that are within our breeding program at Tollchester do not live with us. We place a majority of our breeding dogs into family homes to ensure each dog has the attention and training it deserves. We are extremely grateful to have such a committed network of families helping us preserve the integrity of this wonderful breed.
At Tollchester we stand behind our puppies by guaranteeing you an ideal companion for your home. To achieve this commitment to you, we have dedicated our breeding program to producing healthy, happy and sound Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. This promise is why health, temperament and conformation (body type) are our top priorities for our tollers at Tollchester. These three elements are a major part of creating a mentally and physically sound companion for an active family.
**Tollers have abilities to be wonderful family companions as well as good show dogs, obedience dogs, agility dogs, flyball dogs, lure coursing dogs, dock diving dogs, therapy dogs, field dogs and pretty much any venue their owner enjoys!**
Since 2002 our tollers have been showing their versatility and making history! We are proud to have had a plethora of champion tollers world wide - including but not limited to the first female best in show toller, the first reserve best in show toller, the first best baby puppy in show toller, plus we have had multiple best puppy in show tollers, multiple best puppy in specialty show tollers, top 10 tollers in Canada, top 10 tollers in the USA, as well as tollers who have achieved awards at national specialty shows, regional specialty shows, westminster, eukanuba, crufts and many european dog shows! Our tollers aren't just achieving beauty awards, many of our tollers compete in sports events where they have received performance titles in agility, obedience, therapy and hunting! We are very proud of what our dogs have accomplished and very thankful for their owners who are dedicated to helping reach these goals.
We take pride in the way we raise our dogs and all our litters are raised in our home 'under foot' with proper socialization and care. All our tollers include a puppy package (which generally includes toys, bowl, leash, collar, food etc..), a written contract, Canadian or American Kennel Club registration, tattoo or microchip, temperament testing, trainability assesments, structure evaluations, vaccine(s), deworming and a vet check. For anyone interested in breeding their toller we also offer breeding contracts as part of our mentorship program.
We transport our dogs internationally and are familiar with many of the laws and qualifications regarding shipping. We are always happy to keep a promising puppy to ship overseas and have sent dogs to Hawaii, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Italy, England, Japan, Mexico, Saudia Arabia and many more.
